Wondering Wonderland is a mini festival concluding new works-in-progress from Teater Garasi’s artist collective. While enjoying Jompet Kuswidananto’s new visual works, we invite you to go along with Gunawan Maryanto’s close reading of Sukra’s Eyes – a short story anthology which was first published at the 2015 Frankfurt Book Fair. Contemporary Music lovers may pose appreciation to Yennu Ariendra’s piece ‘Menara Ingatan’. Meanwhile, Teater Garasi’s collective piece, “Yang Fana Adalah Waktu. Kita Abadi” (Time is transcient, We are Eternal) – currently being re-processed for a performance in Jakarta at the end of July – will be presented into three fragments under the title “Paradise Now”. For those who relish traditional performing arts will be able to enjoy a variety of traditional Javanese music and dance. Spare a spell to celebrate ‘Wondering Wonderland’ at Teater Garasi 26-29 May 2016. Cu there!<\/p>\n
